Problem of Short time for searching

    I can’t search any plugin or widget and theme. It is showing time limit (30 sec) or a wrong message.

    I use Xampp software for localhosting. Please solve my problem.

    This is major problem for my work.

    Can you post a screenshot?

    It seems like network issue. Your local WP install may not be able to access the internet because of anti virus or firewall.

    I am now using Xampp 5.6.3(latest) and wordpress 4.0.1(latest) but still I am facing this problem.

    the error message is:

    Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in E:\Xampp 5.6.3\htdocs\wordpress\wp-includes\class-http.php on line 1421

    please check and tell me what will I do to solve this problem.

    1. from the XAMPP control panel, stop Apache if it is running
    2. click the Config button for Apache and select PHP (php.ini)
    3. this will open php.ini in NotePad
    4. do a Find for execution
    5. change the value for max_execution_time = 30 to a higher value such as 120
    6. File > Save
    7. restart Apache

    Did you try with your anti virus/firewall disabled?

    Also, you should incrase maximum execution time to something like 300 seconds.

    Thank you Mr. LyleChamney & ishan001. It is working. But here is another problem. It’s showing an unexpected error. The message is:

    “An unexpected error occurred. Something may be wrong with www.ads-software.com or this server’s configuration. If you continue to have problems please try the support forums.”

    Now what is the solution for this error?

    Please help…
