Problem permalink change Google news

  • Our site has been accepted on to google news – however we didnt realize that we have to have our permalinks set with at least 3 numbers in the url, at the moment they are set with just the title of the news article.

    At the moment we only have around 4 articles showing up in the google news search just by sheer chance that the news titles have numbers in them.

    We are aware that by changing the permalink in wordpress to put additional numbers in the URL that it will affect our google search, indexing, traffic etc.

    Are there any plugins or suggestions on how I can resolve this, such as an automatic redirect?
