• Although I’ve managed to install and run WordPress on my local host before running it on line, I’m finding it difficult to place my product icon in the top left hand side of the hoepage. Mine is more to the right and just above the menu, nearly in the middle of the page no matter which way I configure it with auto, left, middle.

It would be much easier to click on it with the mouse pointer and take it to where it should be sitting, but that doesn’t work or does it.

Can someone tell me how I get the icon sitting where I want it.

    Thanks a lot.

Please provide a link to a page on your site where we can see this. Thanks.

As my site is on localhost (My desktop) Im unable to give you a link to it. Therefore, the only other thing I can do is show you a snapshot of the front of my site. I hope this is sufficient.

    Thanks a lot.

    Not to worry.

Ive just started to build the wordpress site and the product icon is sitting exactly where I wanted it to go.

It must have something to do with the localhost (Wamp) settings on my desktop, as no matter what I did, I just couldn’t get the icon to sit where I wanted. But when I was setting the site up on the Internet it worked first time, I was really amazed.

Sorry to have waisted your time Steve.

I hope everything you wish for in the new year comes true.

    Best of luck.

    Michael.
