Problem: posting and editing- no cursor

  • Hello- I’ve been having trouble since this weekend starting a new post or editing a current posts. When I want to write a new post, there is no cursor in the post box. However, if I click on the “WordPress Bookmarklet- Press It” link at the bottom of the page, I’m able to get text in the post box and start from there. So at least I’ve figured out an alternate way to post.

    When I try to edit a post, the html code shows briefly in the post box, then disappears…..there’s nothing to edit. I’ve had this problem resolve itself intermittently, but not due to any change I’ve made. Yesterday and today, it hasn’t worked at all.

    Does anyone have any ideas for me?

    I have had the same problem; I’ve been told to re-install my entire wp-admin directory. Hope it works!
