problem previewing pages (error 4040

    Hi all,

    i am new to wordpress so advance apologies if I am asking an old question (I did search but couldn’t find anything).

    When trying to preview a draft page I get the error 404 page not found page. any pointers would be greatly appreciated.

    ok well problem resolved by updating the .htaccess file manually using ftp, as the permissions on the file are not setup to allow wordpress to update files.
