Problem Restoring

    I had a site installed locally on an old computer and decided to migrate to my new mac.

    All goes well until I press the agree to delete old file dialogue. after that I’m stuck on restoring “7756 files… 0%”

    Anyway to fix this??

    BTW the Stop Import button also doesn’t work!
    I have to quit Firefox . then I can’t log in to my localhoste anymore so I have to delete all the files and reinstall.

    could you please tel me what’s wrong?

    Sorry a little update here,

    I just shut the page down and restarted my browser. If I connect to my localhost, I can see the migrated page (1 thing good) but if I log in to WP via the localhost:8888/wp-admin, all I get after the logon is a blank page.

    BTW i was stuck on “7756 files… 0%” for over 1h30

    How do I access my dashboard?

    Hi Kaizoku,

    I am sorry for the inconvenience.
    How large is your .wpress backup?
    Could you edit your wp-config.php file and set WP_DEBUG to true?
    While doing, refresh the frontend and you should see an error there.
