problem sending invoices

– Do you have an idea about when this started to happen?
– Who is your host? Are you by any chance using SiteGround?
– Are you using an SMTP plugin?

Could you install this plugin and check the logs? https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/wp-mail-logging/

If the emails are being generated, your SMTP server could be blocking them for some reason.
