Problem Trying to Grab RSS Data from 4.9

    Hi,

    I too observe the same with this feed. I’ll investigate further on why this is happening. For now you can stay on v4.8.1, you are not interested in v4.9 features. Otherwise you can upgrade. I’ll suggest workaround for fix that issue.

    Hi Aakash,

    I still get an error when grabbing RSS from the United States SEC website:

    RSS Error: A feed could not be found at https://www.sec.gov/cgi-bin/browse-edgar? action =getcompany&CIK=0001397183&type= 10&dateb=&owner=include&start=0&count =40&output =atom; the status code is '403° and content-type is text/html

    This works for 4.7 but not for 4.8-4.9

    Hi @mrodic,

    If you are using the latest version, can you please go to “plugin editor” -> super rss reader -> select includes/utilities.php

    Add // at the beginning of line 36?

    It should look like below

    //$feed->set_useragent( 'Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/110.0.0.0 Safari/537.36' );

    The RSS feed should work now.
