• Hi!

I’m using NGGallery 2.0.11 on WordPress 3.7.3, and I’ve a problem with the alttext of the images.

In the URL of the dashboard:

    /wp-admin/admin.php?page=nggallery-manage-gallery&mode=edit&gid=1&_wpnonce=4d8f60bd47

I’m trying to change the “Alt & Title Text / Description” of an image. I change it, and press “Save changes”, and WP says “Update successfull”… but the page shows still the old alttext of the image.

But, I go to the left menu, and select (again) the same gallery and, when the page loads, it shows the new description.

So the alttext was correctly changed, but doesnot showed in the page after updating. It’s a problem, cause the users think that the alttext has not be changed.

    Can anybody help me?

    Thanks.

@darthjuanan – Have you considered using current version of WordPress and NextGEN Gallery as an option?

Yes, but it is impossible by the moment.

It’s a website with a lot of documents, and we are trying in the next version, but in a few months it’s impossible, and we need to show that text.

@darthjuanan – Although I strongly recommend updating to the current WordPress version the one you noted should work correctly with NextGEN Gallery but we are only focusing our support on current versions of NextGEN Gallery (at this moment it is 2.0.66) which may help sort out the issue(s) you have.
