problem uploading image

  • Tried to upload 2 images. One uploaded and was saved in the Media Library (although only as full size image – no thumbnail options available)The second will not upload – I get this message :-
    The uploaded file could not be moved to /home/thegalle/public_html/wp-content/uploads/2010/05.

    Can anyone help please.

    I have tried to download Version 3 – but that doesn’t work either… I get – Downloading update from https://www.ads-software.com/wordpress-3.0.zip.
    Unpacking the update.
    Incompatible archive: PCLZIP_ERR_BAD_FORMAT (-10) : Unable to find End of Central Dir Record signature
    Installation Failed

    If you can help – please make it simple – I’m not very ‘Tech’.
