Problem uploading media

  • First of all, thank you for your work. Great and functional.
    Like many (I’ve read all topics related) I get an error after uploading with the role ‘Author’ “An error occurred in the upload. Please try again later”. It does not occur with the role “Editor”. I do not have ‘Theme my login’, only “WP User Control”, deactivated.
    Any ideas?

    I am pretty sure the problem is in Theme My Login. If you select disable admin access, the user will not be able to upload images, as this also disables ajax.

    I had exactly the same issue (and it drove me nuts), this is why I added the option to disable the admin bar in Frontier Post.

    So to solve this, remove the tick in disable admin access in Theme My Login and disable the admin bar in Frontier Post for the relevant profile (ex Author)

    Be aware that disabling admin access in Theme My Login and hide the admin bar in Frontier Post is not the same – Disabling access is stronger, disabling the admin bar is made to make it easier for the user and hides the backend.
