• I have this same issue on a couple of different installs: BP installed with bbp; Docs installed; Group Docs enabled. I can’t figure out how the integration of Docs and groups is meant to work. It seems like all the obviously-desirable-to-me functionality of Docs ONLY works when Group Docs is enabled. But there’s one thing I don’t get.

If I enter a Group from my profile, as a non-admin user, and then click Docs from that Group’s menu, I get a top menu with the following options: “All Docs /Group 1’s Docs”. Works perfectly! Clicking “All Docs” then gives me a menu bar with the following options: “All Docs/Started By Me/Edited By Me/My Groups.” Exactly what one would want.

But if I go directly to Docs from my profile, I see “Started by Me/Edited By Me”, but no “All Docs” tab. I need to hit the “Create New Doc” button: if I do that, I get the 4-option menu bar again. But there’s no way to view “All Docs” directly from my profile.

So here’s my problem. A user who simply goes to the “Docs” tab on their menu is going to think no docs exist, even if many docs accessible to that user in fact exist on the site. Clicking “create” to get a menu that gives access to existing docs is, uh, not so intuitive.

Is there a way to get that full menu: “All Docs/Started By Me/Edited By Me/My Groups” to appear on the first docs page: (my site’s name/members/myusername/docs/)?

Sorry for all the words about a relatively minor issue. It just seems so weird that I figure it must be my mistake and there’s an easy fix.
