Problem using shortcodes inside text element

  • Hi WR team,

    Thanks for giving us a great plugin. It’s amazing, lots of features and elements.

    However, I have a problem using shortcodes inside text element. I’m using WooCommerce, and when I try to insert WooCommerce’s shortcode:

    [recent_products per_page="4" columns="4" orderby="date" order="asc"]

    inside text element, there are 2 problems happen:

    – The preview shows error:

    Fatal error: Call to undefined function woocommerce_product_loop_start() in /home/fitwpaho/public_html/themes.fitwp.com/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/includes/class-wc-shortcodes.php on line 327

    – When I try to save the element and click save (or publish) the page, I get the same error.

    My guest is you’re trying to parse shortcodes in the admin area where WooCommerce files have probably not been loaded.

    My suggestion is keep the shortcodes as they are, cause you can’t parse all shortcodes from other plugins and that breaks the editing process.

    By the way, the plugin is great. I love it!
