Problem VAT : Price with VAT in cart and checkout should not appear

Thanks for reaching out!

I understand that the VAT is displaying on the Cart and Checkout pages of your site even though the customers are not subjected to VAT.

Taxes and VAT are calculated based on the settings that are enabled and the information for the customer. However, before that info is known or entered by the customer, WooCommerce will use the ‘default customer location’ settings to try and display something.

Can you please share with us a screenshot of your Tax Settings for us to check further?

It is not really the problem no, the total is correctly calculated without VAT but if you look at the 2 captures below you will see in red that the price with VAT appears here and even if the total is correct, it is not clear for the customer.
In my exemple it should appear only 156,20€ and not 189€

I tried what you suggest but it doesn’t fix my problem.

At the contrary it is worst because now even for the customers who have to pay the VAT, it mix prices with or without VAT

Thanks for sending the screenshots, I understand what you are saying.

In this case you can perform a conflict test:

• Temporarily switch your theme to Storefront
• Disable all plugins except for WooCommerce
• Create a test order and check the prices generated

At this point check if the issue is still present, if not, it means there was a conflict and you can reactivate the theme and plugins gradually one by one and check again after each reactivation until the cause of the problem is found You can find a more detailed explanation on how to do a conflict test here.

You can run the test on a staging environment, you can request assistance to your web host or you can use a plugin like the WP Staging for quickly spinning up a new test site.

It was the plugin WooCommerce Bulk Discount. Are you helping with this plugin too as it is a woocommerce plugin ?
