Problem version 1.2.2
-
updated to version 1.2.2, the product was no longer unloaded from the site. Please send me version 1.1, no problem with it. [email protected]

Greetings @olegsw37 Can you clarify what you mean by “the product was no longer unloaded from the site”?
We ran multiple tests and the conversion of the database from two metatables to one worked flawlessly. 100’s of users have upgraded just fine. As mentioned in the database conversion message, the data could not be reverted, where once you upgrade to 1.2.0-1.2.2, you could not revert back. The tables are no longer resident from version 1.2.2 going back to early versions. You would have to restore your database before the conversion to revert back to the earlier version.
I would suggest you fully uninstall and reinstall the plugin first.
However, if you want to try version 1.1, it still can be downloaded from the archive found on the advanced panel here: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/product-code-for-woocommerce/advanced/

Same here. When I update the plugin, the product code does not upload to the ERP and does not show on invoices. Put plugin back to old version and it works again. Old version is 1.1.0 and new version we are trying to update to is 1.2.2.

@creativeone please explain exactly, in detail, what is not working with the Enterprise resource planning (ERP). The developer is going to look at this thread.
Hi there
Same here. The moment I’ve updated to 1.2.2 on Oct 23th there are no product codes in woocommerce orders anymore. invoice and manual xml-export for erp are now incomplete due to this. any idea?
thanks for your support- This reply was modified 4 years ago by mgyk.
We had a new developer work on this, who we learned later, butchered (corrupted) the plugin. We are trying to rectify it in any way possible, but the solution may not be quickly forthcoming. We are currently wading through the developer’s denial which doesn’t get us any closer to a resolution. Thanks for your patience.

sorry to hear that and thanks for transparency.
hope there is no security issue because of this?
many thanks for updating us here if you get any solution. We are in process of consulting a new developer to try and press for an expedient result. Thanks for your patience and we are very sorry for the unacceptable performance of an otherwise dependable plugin.
Currently, I understand, “When the 1.1.0 plugin is updated to the new version, the product code does not upload to the SAP/ERP and does not show on invoices. There are no product codes in WooCommerce orders anymore. Invoice and manual XML-export for ERP is now incomplete due to the currently corrupted plugin.”
If someone could expand on this, be very detailed so the developer has a sense of exactly what the problem is. The plugin intrinsically was not designed with any definition of SAP/ERP export capabilities, therefore it is hard to explain a problem for a feature that just happened to work. Thanks for any assistance.
Sorry to hear about the developer issues. Can you let us know when the new, fixed update is done. I hate leaving plugins not updated. Thanks so much.
Hello @creativeone, The previous developers are in the process of reversing all the damage to soon release a fully working version. Sorry for the delay… only so much I can do.
Hello again, Just wondering if the plugin is going to work with WP 5.6. I don’t want to update if it is going to stop working. Thanks
@creativeone Very soon. Testing now.
You never responded to the above inquiry posted a month ago, “…please explain exactly, in detail, what is not working with the Enterprise resource planning (ERP). The developer is going to look at this thread.”
Myself nor any of the three developers were able to create or replicate your problem for the inability to find a problem, therefore I doubt your issue will be resolved. You seem to be one of two users with the issue, where hundreds of other users report no problem.
There is another plugin that we recently found, been available longer and much like this one that might serve your purposes better: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/product-gtin-ean-upc-isbn-for-woocommerce/

@creativeone, @olegsw37 and @mgyk The plugin has a number of fixes in version 1.2.3, hopefully correcting any problems created by the previous developer. Please create a new support thread with exact details if any further issues are encountered. Thanks!
Sorry for not responding. I didn’t get the message for some reason. With 1.2.2, the product code just disappears from the product page in admin so when an order is placed, the product code does not show. Is this fixed now?
Hi @creativeone,
However the plugin 1.2.2 was corrupted and upgrade script didn’t run or was not fully run to update database meta keys which we did fix in version 1.2.3.
You can update to version 1.2.3. If still it doesn’t shows you it means still your database meta keys are not getting updated. This happens if there are more number of products and execution time required would be less.
For this you would be required to manually change the key names from _product_code_variant to _product_code.
Let us know.
Thanks
Abdullah
