I’m having a problem viewing https://chocolatour.net on mobile devices. When I look at my site using my smartphone (Samsung Galaxy S3), I can see the sidebar in portrait mode but when I flip my phone to landscape, I can’t see it any more.

The opposite is happening when I view it on my tablet. The sidebar displays in landscape mode but doesn’t in portrait.

    I appreciate any suggestions. Thanks!

  • Hi sperry. Welcome to the Hueman forum. I did some testing on your site. In a desktop browser and narrowing the window, the sidebar collapses to the << icon at 960px, and moves below the content at 480px, which is the theme default functionality. I also checked using Google Developer Tools. Emulating a Galaxy S III, in portrait mode the sidebar was displayed below the content; in landscape mode it was collapsed beside the content and available using the << icon. Emulating an iPad Mini, in portrait mode the sidebar was collapsed to the << icon; in landscape mode the sidebar was fully visible. I also ran the iPad Mini test on mobiletest.me with the same results. The behavior you described for your tablet is more along the lines of what one would expect; displayed in landscape mode and collapsed (but not hidden) in portrait mode. But, I don’t have either of those physical devices to see the actual results you’re describing.

Thanks so much for investigating this for me bdbrown. I feel much better knowing that this is working as expected. I thought I was missing something. I appreciate your doing this.
