Problem while Backing Up: You must provide at least one recipient email address

  • Hi there, I’m trying to backup my staging site to email but I’m getting the error: “Error while sending notification: You must provide at least one recipient email address.”

    I’ve used this plugin on many other staging sites and I’ve never received this error. How can I resolve it?

  • Hi,

    Could you please go to Security > Settings > Notification Center > Default Recipients and verify one has been checked? If it has, you may try clearing the cache to see if the error persists.

    Yes I have one of those selected. I cleared my browser cache, but it persists. How can I resolve this?

    Try and navigate to Security > Settings > Notification Center > Database Backup and make sure a valid email address is specified in the Recipient field.

    To prevent any confusion, I’m not iThemes.
