Problem Widget Display Control with many pages save

Hello,
the plugin itself works fine. But if we use the widget display control with a large amount of pages the plugin can not save the settings.
The php allows 90 seconds runtime and the plugin quits after 8-12 seconds.
We are talking about to save 500-700 pages.
The option to include all subpages causes a high load time up to a crash. So we have to add manuell all allowed pages.
Maybe you have a bugfix for it?Plugin Version: 2.2
