Problem with accented words at the beginning of the sentence

    After updating to Gutenberg 4.3 (WordPress 4.9.8), I get a problem when write accented words at the beginning of the sentence.
    Instead of à I get `A;
    Instead of é I get ′E.

    Update: The problem exists in the beginning of a block. If I start a second sentence it get it right. Example: ′E a test. é a test

    Hiya,

    Could you test this with Gutenberg 4.4.0 (released earlier today), as I’m not able to replicate this behavior on a test setup with that running?

    Also, do you have pre-accented letters on your keyboard, or are you using a combination of keys to input them, like in my case I have to hit a combination of keys, which may affect the behavior.

    After updating to 4.4.0 the problem is gone.

    P.S. On the keyboard I have to use a combination ok keys to get the accented words.
