Problem with Adhesive

  • Basic questions. What version of WP do you have? If you have 1.5 alpha, you have to use Adhesive 2.1 beta. If not, you have to use Adhesive 1.6 alpha. Make sure you have the correct version. Also, open the Adhesive.php in a text editor. You can customize some of the behavior. Finally, make sure you have the Advanced Controls checked. Go to the Admin pages, and under Options->Writings, make sure you have the Advanced controls checked.

    Oh, yea. Try a “Save and Continue Editing” first. The Sticky box might appear.

    I was using Adhesive with no problems. I upgraded the inline trackback plug-in and wham, major screw up. Now the Adhesive plug-in is not available on my plug-in activation area, but it is in the wp plug-in directory. Any ideas?

    N/M I figured out the problem ??

    Scratch that …. I redownloaded the plugin and it still won’t work …… just nothing — not sticky option at all. HELP!

    It happens quite often that some plugins are not compatible. You have to decide which is more important for you.

    disable inline trackback plug-in and see if adhesive works again?
