• Yesterday, I installed the All in One Adsense and YPN plugin. I entered my pub ID number in the “Adsense ID” section in the plugin configuration settings, per the instructions. I set it up for an ad to display in the upper left-hand corner of the posts, but as you can see, it’s just a blank there where the ad would show up, but the ad isn’t showing up.

Any idea what may be going on here? Thanks!

I adjusted the plugin so that the ads show up in the upper right hand corner of the posts, and it’s still showing just a blank where the ads supposed to show up for me.

I contacted the maker of the plugin, and he said that the ad showed up on his machine. I cleared my IE and Google Chrome histories and cache’s and it’s still not showing up on my computer.

    2 questions:

    1. Any idea what could be causing this issue?

    2. Does the ad in the upper-right hand corner of the post show up on your computer? If you have an answer to either of the above questions, I appreciate your response.

You have to check the source code, if the ad code is there (which appears to me it is), then there’s no problem with the plugin. Google controls whether or not displaying an ad to you, if you visited the same page too many times, google may decide to no longer display the ad to you, and just display a blank instead. Nothing to do with browser cache etc.. I believe it is IP based.

Thanks linewbie. And just to make sure, it’s showing up for you, right? If so, I’ll leave this one alone, and just trust that it’s showing up for others. I just find it strange that the one that embedded in the actual post is showing up for me though.

Maybe that’s because the ad that’s in the body of the post isn’t on every post (I have to call the function in the post editor), but the one I set up using your plug is in every post?

I was never able to see a post show up in the upper right hand corner of my posts. I spoke to WPDirect (WordPress) support, and they told me that the Adsense ad that I’m trying to get to show up in the upper right hand corner of posts might not be showing up because I had 4 ads in the Adsense unit that shows up the body of the text.

They told me that you can only have 3 ads per page, and eluded that that may be the reason why the one in the upper right hand corner isn’t showing up.

So, I swapped out the unit that shows up in the body of the text of the blog posts so that it only contains 2 ads, and the unit that I’m trying to get to show up in the upper right-hand corner (that’s using the Adsense All in One plugin) still isn’t showing up.

Is it showing up for you when you visit one of my blog posts? If not, do you have any ideas as to what’s going on here? Thanks!
