    Hi,

The downloadable file OFFLINE%20COUNTER%20STRIKE.zip?dl=1 cannot be used as it does not have an allowed file type. It happens with anything i try to upload from dropbox i think the problem is that it shows as .zip?dl=1 not as .zip i can add stuff direct from media in wordpress but i use dropbox for uploading stuff cause they are bigger

Maybe this is not plugin problem but i’ll post anyway maybe someone know how to fix this

  • I am receiving the same error, I think it might be due to woocommerce upgrading to ver 2.3.10.

Please provide us support as we depend a lot on your plugin.

    Thank you in advance.

Yeah @gremelle you are right but i think it’s problem from woocommerce side not from plugin cause i see other ppl have this problem but they are not using this plugin but still I hope Vadiem will check it so we can be sure.

@kireaki I guess I’ll make an inquiry at the woocommerce support section also.

Someone already started similar thread https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/2310-download-file_type-missing-in-variations-filters-exe?replies=5

And yeah advice is don’t update stuff you saved before this update cause they are working ( learned it hard way ?? ) only new products you add get this error

yep, learned the hard way as well

Mental note to self, don’t push the update button without testing.

    hahaha…

    Hi guys,

Thanks for the heads up, but I’m afraid this is indeed because of the WooCommerce update. The quick solution for now is to install a previous version, but that would be not very ideal.

I will look into this, but i’m afraid it won’t be possible to provide a solution through my plugin. In the end, it is actually a bug in WordPress core (link). I’ve put a reply on the thread Kireaki mentioned, hopefully Woocommerce/WordPress will soon look into it.

    Thanks for your understanding.

    Hi Vadiem,

Yeah we managed to find solution on other thread but it’s just temporary fix cause we are using old version of woocommerce, and I already have some problems with that ( my product gallery stopped working)

Ty so much for quick answer on this topic and i hope they will fix it soon ??

    @Vadiem

Your plugin is invaluable to us.

I hope they find a way to make it work, since my ecommerce site largely depends on your plugin.

    Any updates concerning this?

    Having the same issue.

I’ve created an issue on the Woocommerce Github page regarding this problem.

    Hi,

My tedious work around has been this.

When ever I need to update a file connected to drop box,

    i upload/downgrade to woocommerce 2.3.9.

After I upload and connect all the necessary dropbox files, through Woocommerce Dropbox.

    I upgrade back to 2.3.10.

It’s more work than necessary. but it seems to be working. And it keeps my woocommerce up to date.

I hope this work around works for you guys.

I get the same problem, WooCommerce doesnt like the trailing options on the Dropbox URLs and even when those are removed, the final addresses sent out to customers to not resolve correctly and produce an error. Which is not good for a customer’s sense of confidence!

    Hello

@gremelle tnx for update, I hope they fix this soon I’m still using 2.3.9 version I did manage gallery to work.

I do hope that they fix this in next update until then I will use 2.3.9 version and if there will be more problems I will do as @gremelle but that is my last option ??

    great news guys.

Woocommerce update version 2.3.11 fixes this issue.

thanks @Vadiem for bringing it to the attention of the developers.
