Problem with Apostraphes in Spelling Checker

  • I am using Coldforged’s Spelling Checker and if I add a word that has an apostraphe it breaks the spell checker. By “breaks”, I mean that after I add the word, when I click the button to check spelling, the little window pops up but it gives a javascript error and it just stays blank. The javascript error says “Object Expected.”

    Is anyone else having this problem.

    Other than this, this plugin is just freakin’ awesome! ??

  • Might want to check with him on his site to ask directly. Might already be a fix available.

    Nope, no fix. It’s a limitation of the underlying code for which I have no solution. Well, aside from not adding words to the dictionary with apostrophes :).
