Problem with attached file upload

Could you please confirm if you are getting any specific errors? If possible, please share a screenshot of the error itself, you can use a service like Google Drive to share it with us.

In case we need to try to upload the file or a different specific file type, could you please let us know what file type and would you allow us to do a test submission?

Hi, thanks for the reply. In fact the zip format is the only one that upload. Other specific formats like this .step into the zip (https://areastaging.it/file.zip), it does not upload them. Here you can see the error message: https://areastaging.it/screen000.png

So that we could be on the same page with your form settings, please export your form, upload it to Google Drive and share a link in your next reply. Make sure to this file will be public available.

I don’t use Google Drive. The link indicated ( https://areastaging.it/file.zip ) contains the step file, just click on the link I indicated… here you can easily try to upload it: https://justprint3d.it/preventivieinformazioni/

Also, please keep in mind what Kris mentioned on his last reply about exporting the form itself, if there is sensitive info, you can duplicate it > remove the sensitive info and export the form, then you can use any service that allows you to share files (like ONeDrive, dropbox, or wetransfer) to share the form with us, we’ll check it and try to replicate the issue on a test lab.

Sorry for the delay in replying. In fact the zip works, but as I think I specified, I compressed it exclusively for convenience. What is not loaded is the internal file with the .step extension.

It seems there is an issue with Forminator custom uploads MIME types, for some reason, it’s not working with 3D file formats, I was able to replicate this issue on my lab site using the provided for example.

This problem has already been reported to our development team for further investigation however I can’t give you an exact ETA about when its going to be fixed.

In the meantime I suggest testing another plugin for adding additional MIME types that are allowed to be uploaded:
