    Try deactivating all other plugins and switching to the default theme.

    As I said – I contacted my server admin (= also mail host). They said everithing is ok.
    Do you know where on the mail host is this problem? Or maybe can you say me which function is responsible for sending attachements in mail? I contact host admin again..

    ???

    Please include a link to your Contact Form 7 form plus all your input in the Form and Mail sections of the CF7 interface. If others here are able to understand your actual problem, they may be able to offer a possible solution.

    I have the same problem…I think it’s related to this balise
    define( ‘WPCF7_UPLOADS_TMP_DIR’, ‘Path’ );
    I pasted it in wp-config.php and the sending was longest but all my computer was like Buged x)
    So i think that you have te serch were te place this thing and if you find something else Tell me pleas i have this problem since a year…

    I have just tried to add the file attachment field and it also does not send the attachment. Followed the instructions exactly here https://contactform7.com/file-uploading-and-attachment/ The form submits and says its been sent, but there is nothing in the temp folder and nothing added to the received email

    CF7 is my de-facto plugin, but this seems to fail, any ideas please??

    is there any other plugin to send attachement ? x)

    @ramzikouirene & @houseofstrauss – As per the Forum Welcome, please post your own topic.

    Posting in an existing topic and taking over the original posters question is generally considered inappropriate.

    Added to which, your problem – despite any similarity in symptoms – is likely to be completely different.

    RE: I contact my server admin and he said that server is on, the problem is in plugin, its wrong encoding etc.

    I regularly send png files as attachments using CF7 on many different websites and several different servers. Any issue you have is almost certainly due to something on your local WP install.

    I also looked at your CF7 form setup which looks fine.

    ????It looks like your email setup (either the sending or the receiving end) converted the png file to a .txt file.

    I’d suggest you check if you are doing that locally via your spam settings in your email app??.

    If not you could ask you email host specifically about how the png file is getting ??converted to a .txt file.

    I have problem with all type of attachment, not only .png file.

    @ramzikouirene
    Once again, what should I do with this code?
    define( 'WPCF7_UPLOADS_TMP_DIR', 'Path' );

    Hi everyone,

    I had the exact same encoding problem. My attachment file did’nt display as it should !

    I uninstalled Contact Form 7. Then reinstalled and create my form again and tadaaaa everything works fine now !

    Hope this help !

    See you
