    i did the back up correctly, at least i think so. i did everything empyting the phpMyAdmin but i wasn’t sure if it wanted me to delete or ’empty’.. so i just emptied.

    it seems like is asking for wp-load.php but i dont have that file in my back up.

  • What is is that you are trying to do?

    Files like wp-load.php are part of your web (file) space and nothing to do with the mysql database, which can be restored independantly.

    all i want to do is use my back up for my wordpress since the installation didn’t work out. and i did everything the instructions said which was

    if you don’t have SSH access, ask support to help you:
    – delete all the files listed in /home/fashionf/public_html/fantastico_fileslist.txt
    – delete /home/fashionf/public_html/fantastico_fileslist.txt
    – Untar /home/fashionf/fantastico_backups/.backup.1220163159.tgz
    – Empty the database fashionf_wrdp1
    – Import the file /home/fashionf/fantastico_backups//backup.sql into the database fashionf_wrdp1
    – Move /home/fashionf/fantastico_backups/ to /home/fashionf/public_html

    and it’s still not working
