Problem with Block Editor in WP 5.7

  • When editing a post, the Block Editor is no longer working correctly. If you attempt to change the block, via the drop-down menu list, often this will not work. Sometimes I can get down to some of the block types and select them, but I cannot access the Classic Paragraph type this way at all. The problem may have something to do with the program’s attempt to display a visual preview on the right-hand side. It is now much more cumbersome for me to edit in WP. This problem with the Block Editor seems to have begun in the past few days, and may be tied to a program update, I’m not sure.
    Is there a way to fix/correct this?

    This may be a plugin or theme conflict. Please attempt to disable all plugins, and switch to the default Twenty Twenty-One theme. If the problem goes away, enable them one by one to identify the source of the problem.

    If you can install plugins, install Health Check. On the troubleshooting tab, you can click the button to disable all plugins and change the theme for you, while you’re still logged in, without affecting normal visitors to your site.

    I am also getting editor page is not working even after disabling all plugins and current version I have installed is 5.7.2

    I have this exact same problem – have done the Health Check and now I can’t edit any page using the block editor at all.
    WordPress 5.8.1 running Twenty Sixteen theme.
