Problem With Blog Slug

I was having another issue that is now resolved.

Now I was to straighten out another.

I previously created a few “blog” pages. All of them have been deleted except the last one. I have set my permalinks to show “post-name”.

However, instead of my slug being “blog”, it is “blog-4”. I understand why. However, since I have deleted the previous “blog” pages, it will not let me edit the slug to just “blog” for that page.

What can I do to make that happen? I browsed the database, to see if it was there, and maybe there was something I could delete, but I didn’t see anything.

How can I change my slug to just “blog”, so it will quit showing up as “blog-4”? Everything I edit the slug, it just changes back to “blog-4”.
