I am facing one small problem with buttons in amp post

Normal Situation
Non amp post with a link

after clicking the link one small window will open with some text.

Problem
Now with amp post with that link shows text on the same page instead new window.

Can anyone help me and Please suggest any of the ways to resolve the same.

The button and function i am using with shortcodes,
Is it possible with normal HTML?

Basically I want to show the small part of content in separate window and which has rel=nofollow attribute, that is why I am using it.
If you can suggest any other way?
I will use that alternative.

It is possible in AMP, but it is little tricky and will need some custom coding.
