problem with certain hashtags

    Hi,

    I’m having problems with a certain hashtag not working with the plugin.
    I’m embedding with a hashtag like: [custom-twitter-feeds hashtag=”#example”]. This works fine but just not for one special hashtag I want to use: #ITookTheACCOath. The shortcode only generates a <div class=”ctf-error>.
    I have no clue what’s happening there…

    Hey @danielbrose,

    Thank you for reaching out to us for assistance. While the error message should show that there are no available tweets, that is what is happening here. Due to how the Twitter API works, it will only show Tweets made in the last 7 days. Once retrieved, our plugin will save these in a cache and they will keep displaying past this limit, however for #ITookTheACCOath the latest post was in May 2020, as such these will not be available with the Hashtag search. Thank you for your understanding.
