    Hello,

I have set up woocommerce wiht the cart and checkout pages.

On the product page, when I click on ‘add to cart’, instead of adding it to the cart, I am redirected to the homepage…

I have deactivated plugins in case of conflicts but that didn’t help.

I also have the message; “WooCommerce database update required
WooCommerce has been updated! To keep things running smoothly, we have to update your database to the newest version. ”

I have updated it and run each update correctly however I keep seeing this message.

I don’t know if it is all related but it is driving me mad!

    Can someone help me??

I am using a staging site with the plugin WP Staging Pro.
WordPress 5.3.2 running ond Divi latest version.

    Thanks!!

A bti of an update – I don’t have anymore the message; “WooCommerce database update required WooCommerce has been updated! To keep things running smoothly, we have to update your database to the newest version. ”

But the issue with the add to the cart button remains…

Sorry I keep updating my own thread…
    Latest update:

    – If I click on ‘add to cart’ and have the option ticked ‘Redirect to the basket page after successful addition ‘, it goes to the homepage instead of the cart page.

    – If I click on ‘add to cart’ and have unticked the option ‘redirect to the basket page after successful addition ‘, I see a messsage saying the product has been added to the cart – but it stays on the product page. No redirection is happening.

It looks like the Cart and the Checkout pages are not ‘recognised’ by WordPress
I don’t see the option to select the cart and checkout page under the ‘checkout’ settings.

    Can anyone help?

    Thank you.

Typically issues like this may be caused by either a conflict with your theme or with another plugin. How we usually address this type of issue is to have you temporarily switch back to a default WordPress theme such as WordPress [Twenty Nineteen Theme](https://www.ads-software.com/themes/twentynineteen/) or [Storefront](https://www.ads-software.com/themes/storefront/) and disable all plugins except for WooCommerce. If that resolves the issue, then re-enable features one-by-one until you find the one that’s causing the conflict.

    Hey there!

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.
