Problem with Chinese Characters

Hi there,

So I’ve just transferred my blog from wp.com to wp.org, and all my Chinese characters turned into question marks. Believe me I’ve spent hours trying to rectify the situation (although I can be quite illiterate when it comes to programming or anything related). Anyway, if any of you can point me to the right direction, I’d appreciate it very much.
