• There is somehting wrong with the comment form on my website. When I enter text into the comment box the box extends completely to the right hand side of the page and the right hand side of the comment box is hidden behind the sidebar. When I try to type in a comment the cursor eventually gets to the sidebar and then the text that I am typing in gets hidden by the sidebar.
I don’t know how to fix it. I looked at some other websites that use a similar template to mine and they don’t seem to have the same problem, and the source code for their page looks like the same as mine, so I am stumped.
If anyone can help I would really appreciate it.
    My URL is https://musicfromthebluelight.com/b/ .
    Thank you.
    John

  • It would save you some time to do a simple search as this has been answered many times. You are probably using IE. Delete the reference to percentage width in the css for textarea and set the width in the textarea tag cols=”70″. now back to our regularly scheduled programming…

I apologize for not having seen this topic before. Actually, I did do a search and didn’t come up with anything but obviously my search was inadequate.
But thanks a lot for your help.

Now its my turn to apologize – I see my post came off as rather insolent. No need for you to apologize.

That fixed the problem. And you know, now that I think about it I realize that I should have mentioned that the problem only happened with IE. Personally, I prefer Firefox, but since so many other people use IE I just wanted it it to work with IE too.
