Problem with custom permalink structure

Hello,
I’ve figured out that the only way to let the plugin work is to set the default permalink structure to /%postname%/.

I’ve been using the structure /%category%/%postname%/ for 10 years so I can’t change.
Any workaround?

The problem is that the plugin loads only one article more, also with header and main navigation.
