Problem with custom post types in Russian language

hmmm… i think we need more info. What exactly happens when using cyrillic alphabet?

Posts and pages work fine. Even subpages.

When clicking on a custom post type with a cyrillic slug, it displays a list of all posts of that particular type instead of the single post; and when clicking on a flag to change language, it doesn’t redirect on the desired language.

If I put a slug with latin character instead of the cyrillic one, it works.

I might put a test website online if useful.

First scenario, custom post types written in cyrillic:

if you click on the russian flag, it goes to:
https://test.visitfassa.com/ru/%D0%BE%D1%82%D0%B5%D0%BB%D0%B5%D0%B8/hotel-andreas/

It is displayed uncorrectly and the flags don’t work anymore.

Second scenario, custom post types written in latin:
https://test.visitfassa.com/de/bed-and-breakfasts/garni-lorenzo/

click on the russian flag:

https://test.visitfassa.com/ru/garni/garni-lorenzo/

It works fine.

Sorry, but i have no real idea here.

What i can see by your links (the testsite itself is offline again) that the post itself (hotel-andreas) seems to be not in cyrillic, but in latin. Maybe there is something wrong?

I put the site offline because I don’t want it to be indexed by google. Were you able to see it before I took it down? Otherwise I can put it online again for you to have a look.

I tried both latin and cyrillic letters for the post slug but same problem.

This is very strange because normal posts and pages work perfectly, the problem is only with custom post types.

This problem is not solved with the latest update.

but for now, the base needs to be in latin-1. ( acme_zh, garni, etc )

same for the bases for taxonomies:
