problem with Custom Sidebars – Dynamic Widget Area.

Hello, I have a problem, but I do not know which side it comes with Custom Sidebars – Dynamic Widget Area.
I can not change the widgets of SO (blank page with the little wheel that turns, which turns …), if I disable Custom Sidebars everything comes back in order.
The site was working properly, but the problem is recent. FYI this site has been upgraded to wp5 and downgraded to 4.9.9

It’s soon the Chinese new year, so happy new year everyone!

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi Dom

    Thanks for posting.

I can’t immediately replicate this error with WordPress 5.0.3. Trying checking for a working baseline by temporarily deactivating all plugins except for Custom Sidebars and Page Builder. Does the issue persist?

    Hi Andrew,

Thank you for the answer. Yes I tried to disable everything except Custom Sidebars and SO. Same problem…
Maybe I can change the dynamic sidebar system but it’s a long job and I do not know which plugin to turn to.
    A good day to you.

If you have a moment, the next test would be to:

    1. Temporarily deactivate all plugins except for Custom Sidebars and Page Builder.
    2. Temporarily switch to a default theme like Twenty Seventeen.
    Does the issue persist?

Alternatively, you can recreate the issue and check the browser console while the error is occurring and let us know what errors are present. Here is how: https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Using_Your_Browser_to_Diagnose_JavaScript_Errors#Step_3:_Diagnosis

In addition to the above, you can also enable WP_DEBUG and then recreate the issue to see if any PHP errors are present.

Yes same problem persists even with the basic theme.
The problem is mainly with the SiteOrigine editor, sometimes the image widget opens, but not always.

(but that does not tell me too much cala exceeds my area of expertise!) errors appear when opening a page to edit but not when I try to use so.

    Thanks for the feedback.

You could try recreating the issue in another browser, if you’re using Chrome, try Firefox for example. That will rule out any browser specific issues.

If the above test isn’t helpful, please try enabling WP DEBUG to see if any errors are printing when the issue occurs.

Finally, are you able to upgrade to WordPress 5.0.3? Is there a problem preventing that?
