Is there any ready to use bento child theme ?

    I have the bento theme and would like to have a child theme. Is there any ready to use bento child theme or one has to create it ?

    Hello @bm38, thanks for choosing Bento! A child theme is just a new folder with two files: a style.css and a functions.php; the latter needs to reference the parent theme, which is the only condition for WP to see it as a working child theme. All other child theme code are custom styles and functions that its author wishes to add to the parent (i.e. depend on the specific wishes of the author).

    The parent theme reference snippet for the child’s functions.php is pretty standard and can be found here and here in the existing Bento support threads.
