Problem with default Profile Tab – Ultimate Member

    Hi, I’ve been using the Ultimate Member Plug-In with on my site, which has different user roles. I’ve activated the Profile Tabs extension for the UM Plug-In. About tab is the default profile tab regardless of the user role. Can i set different tabs as default for different user roles ?. I can’t see an option in the plug-in. But is it possible through any code customization. Also, when i limit the access of the main tab to a specif user role, it isn’t supposed to be shown to other roles. But that is not the case. If the default tab is restricted or not it’ll be displayed to every users.

    Hi @rahul2019,

    I’m afraid, we are not able to provide support for the Profile Tabs because it is not our extension it is developed by other developers from PlusPlugins, moreover, it seems that the developers abandoned this extension and don’t update it.

    Currently, you can only set one default profile tab for all user roles, it’s not possible to set different default tabs for every user role.

    Okay, However i’ve managed to make the customizations i want through the template in my child theme. At least it shouldn’t be shown to those roles which doesn’t have access to that tab. That’s kind of a normal behaviour
