Good evening guys, I’m sorry to bother you. This question is indirectly related to WPC Product Bundles, and I thought that maybe you could give me some advice. ?In my store I have individual products and some product bundles.?

The thing is, I need a plugin that allows me to add a discount to certain products by quantity (for example, if the customers buy 3 units of the same product?, they have an X% discount).

Now, I was testing “WooCommerce Bulk Discount”, but it seems that if the bundles include any of the products with a quantity discount, the discount is also applied in the bundle, and I don’t want that, because the pack already has a cheap price. Is there a plugin that allows me to manage that, or a way to avoid that problem? I hope I have explained myself well, I’ve been looking at the other WPC products, but I don’t think any of them do what I need. Thanks in advance for any advice or suggestion!

  • Hi @dafaher,
The mechanism of discounting on Product Bundles is to apply a flat rate on every bundled product, whether it is by the percentage or by an amount. It establishes a total bundle discount/price.
?You CANNOT set different discounts for bundled items.
?You CANNOT set discount rules based on the quantity accumulation (10% off for 10 units, 20% for 20 units, etc.) or user roles (10% for unregistered buyers, 20% for VIP customers, etc.)
When both the percentage and amount boxes are filled with a number, the amount discount will be applied.`

If you would like to a customer buy the same bundled products to a bundle multiple times, you can choose “Yes” for the “Accept same product” option in the Search settings of Product Bundles. However the scheme of bundle is giving discounts for people when buying the whole deal, so there’s no way to discount each bundled item.

You can kindly try our WPC Composite Products or WPC Frequently Bought Together, they give a more flexible way of discounting the components or additional items. Please refer to their description for more information. You can also learn more about the mechanism of our major WooCommerce plugins here
    Best regards
