• Hello.
I have the Calendar view in this site.
In Dutch it is all alright but when I switch in UK or German the Event-title are not showing except the color bar. I use for the Translation the Plugin TranslationPress.
    How can this be fixed?

I am not familiar with TranslationPress, by searching I found ‘TranslatePress’ is that the one? Is it a free or premium plugin?

In the first instance I would suggest contacting that plugin support as they are likely to know and understand how they substitute languages and can probably quickly point out any tweaks needed to QEM markup.

Yes this is the one and Premium. I already contacted them and they cannot help me with this matter because QEM is not one of the mayor plugins.
For them I was the first to contact them with this plugin.
Everything with QEM works fine but when it comes to the Calendar in other languages, the Event titles are showing only up when you go one month forward and than backward to the current ongoing month.

Sorry I am in able to help as I don’t have access to that premium plugin.

It is shame that you have paid for support but they are unwilling.

If TranslatePress want to contact me directly via https://fullworksplugins.com and are able to provide a test copy of their plugin I would be able to have a look.

Without it I can not help you.

On their plugin page it says

Fully compatible with all themes and plugins

Please do not offer that to anyone, anywhere in the complete universe. Alan knows that is not safe for him and that is 100% not safe for you either. It’s also expressly not allowed.

    Please do not repeat that.

    Good morning ok.Sorry.
I will forward to them the last message so maybe they can find a solution for the problem.

Just FYI I have managed to replicate using the free version of TranslatePress on
a test system, I am reviewing their trouble shooting guide and trying options.

Thank you. I send them an email with what you need to get an solution for it.

Did you get the same problem?

    Plugin Author Alan Fuller

    (@alanfuller)

Just FYI I found why ( TranslatePress applies mark up before we then shorten th title to fit – hence breaking html ).

I should be able to create a fix that caters to TranslatePress methods early next week.

There is a ‘non code’ fix.

As TranslatePress adds markup it increases the Event Title length, so when this is shortened is breaks the mark up.

So you can just set the length to ,massive e.g. 2000 so it never truncates the title.

This works, at least with the free TranslatePress on my test.

p.s. the permanent fix is in the pro version beta now, and will be deployed to the free version once fully tested next week,
