I installed this plugin on two sites both on external hosting. On the first it works normally, on the second (the installation is identical) when I go to insert the link to the external file to download, it is not stored and in the table showing the various doenloads created the wording ‘No file provided’ is shown. What can I check to fix the problem? Thanks to whoever will answer me.

    Hello @mabasoft,

Thanks for reaching out to us!

It might be an issue caused by a plugin or your theme.
I recommend installing this plugin: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/health-check/
After you install and activate the above plugin it has a Troubleshooting mode which allows you to have a vanilla WordPress session, where all plugins are disabled, and a default theme is used, but only for your user – your visitors will still see the normal website.

Go to its troubleshoot mode and only activate Download Monitor and the extension you are using and see if it works correctly with a default WordPress theme (Twenty Twenty-One for example) and no other plugins.

Please let me know how it goes and what you find!

    Warmly,

    Beatrice.
