Problem with DW Q&A

  • hello, I installed the module but it gives me some problems.

    Here is the page where you installed the module DW Q & A:

    Problem 1) When I create a post with a user name, you will not receive a confirmation email, and does not even receive an email with your password. This is normal?

    Problem 2) After submitting the application the user is sent to a nonexistent page.

    Any suggestions??

    Hi,
    1, When you submit a question while not logged in, you will be required to register a new account or enter your existing account to log in. If you register with new username and email, you will register with WordPress site by default, and your new password will be sent through your email ( please make sure registration function of your site was enabled ).

    2, After submitting a question successfully, you will be redirected to the question list page. If you meet a 404 page, please go to Dashboard -> Settings -> Permalink then just click on “Save changes” button.

    Please let me know if you still meet the problem with DW Question Answer.

    I am facing problem with DW Q & A
    it only works when default permalink is set after installing the plugin

    Please let me know if there is a way to make it work without changing permalink and even though there could be some work around all the features does not work.

    Hi blog wp,
    You can go to Permalink Settings Page, click save change button without any change in settings. If you still meet this problem, please install Rewrite Rules Inspector plugin, then go to Tool > Rule Inspector > Flush Rewrite Rule.

    I am facing another issue where comments and answers by anonymous user does not gets submitted,

    It is giving error like below,even though comment and email id is entered

    “Please enter your comment content”

    Also the Answers by anonymous users are getting submitted but not shown,

    Both comments and answers should be submitted and sent for approval and approval window should be shown after submission.

    Only after approval comments and answers by anonymous users should be shown.

    Hello author,
    i am facing problem with the permlinks of the plugin.

    if the single question is being able to open, then the catagory-question gives 404 and vise-versa.

    Please help.
