    Hello:

I have a problem with dynamic content translation. I have a Custom Post Type (Agenda) whose last two posts should appear on the home page. I have created a loop for it, but although the agenda posts are translated into several languages, they do not appear translated on the home page, but they appear in the main language.

Is it impossible what I want to do?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hello,

    Thank you for your question.

TranslatePress works at the string level, thus, every string from the original language will have a duplicate for each language TranslatePress create.

If the plugin that create the loop from your CPT didn’t took the same string from your post but create another, TranslatePress cannot show the translation as in TranslatePress (eyes) it is a totally different string.

    Kind regards,

Thank you very much. I found the answer very helpful. There is no problem in the plugin and there is no incompatibility with any other plugin. I just didn’t remember that the field that goes to the front page does not appear in the single page of the event, so it could not be translated. I must translate it on the front page.

    Regards and thanks.
