Hi ?? I am currently stuck with Elementor 17.3., because with every newer version I have the problem that the view on mobile portrait is over the full width of the smartphone display. Normally i have some space at the right and left. Please see the attached screenshots, then you’ll notice the difference.

I tried everything, changed all settings here and there, deactivated every plugin etc, played around with breakpoints, the general width, googled for hours and waited until maybe with a newer version of Elementor will fix this, but still with the newest version (3.21) i have the same problem. In addition the Flag you’ll see on the Screenshot moves into the center with a newer version. That itself isn’t a problem, but maybe it helps to find out what could be the problem.

Does anybody has an idea what i can try? I have to rely on this website and don’t want to be stuck with Elementor 17.3 forever.

    Thanks you all!

    best regards from Germany

    Hi there,

It sounds like you’ve encountered some frustrating issues with Elementor. Let’s see if we can troubleshoot this.

First, have you checked if your theme is compatible with the latest version of Elementor? Sometimes conflicts can arise between themes and page builders, causing layout issues.

If your theme is compatible, try the following steps:

    1. Clear Cache: Sometimes caching plugins or browser cache can cause display issues. Try clearing both and see if it resolves the problem.
    2. Check Responsive Settings: Ensure that the sections, columns, and widgets have the appropriate responsive settings configured. You can adjust these settings by clicking on the responsive mode icons in the Elementor editor.
    3. Custom CSS: If you’ve added any custom CSS to your site, it might be affecting the layout. Temporarily remove any custom CSS and see if the issue persists.
    4. Plugin Conflict: Even if you’ve deactivated plugins, there might still be conflicts. Try deactivating all plugins except Elementor and then gradually reactivate them one by one to identify if any plugin is causing the issue.
    5. Update Everything: Make sure your WordPress installation, theme, and all plugins are up to date, including Elementor.
    6. Review Theme Settings: Some themes come with their own responsive settings that might interfere with Elementor’s. Check your theme settings to ensure they are not overriding Elementor’s settings.

If you’ve tried all of these steps and still haven’t found a solution, consider reaching out to a developer or a community forum where Elementor experts might be able to provide more tailored assistance.

    Hi Milos,
    Thanks for your reply!

    1. Clear Cache: Done
    2. Check Responsive Settings: Done, everything is set to the usual. When I edit in Elementor i see space at the right und left as it should be and was before the update, but when i open it on the phone it covers the whole width of the display.
    3. Custom CSS: I do not use any Custom CSS
    4. Plugin Conflict: All done
    5. Update Everything: Expect of Elementor itself all Plugins and WordPress are updated to the latest version
    6. Review Theme Settings: Done

How can i reach out to a developer? ??

    Thanks and best regards,
    Norman
