    Hi.

    First, thanks for a very nice plug-in. Much appreciated.

    I have a problem. If I have the event view in “List”-mode, there is a button to export all events. If I press it I end up on a “file not found”-page.
    This is how the URL is shown for the button on hover:
    https://www.**********.nu/events/?ical=1&tribe_display=list
    To download an .ICS-file, I have to right-click on the button and choose “Save as…”.

    The same issue is present on a single event page. The “iCal export”-button only gives you a “File not found”-page. URL is shown as:
    https://www.*******.nu/event/test/?ical=1&tribe_display=
    Same solution, right-click and “Save as…” works to download the .ICS-file.

    Is this a bug? I haven’t done any customization except doing translations in your language files. This issue was present in your last version too. Before that I didn’t test the buttons, so can’t tell if it was present or not in earlier versions.

    Best regards.

  • Hey, thanks for reaching out and sorry for the trouble! I’m happy to help troubleshoot this with you to see what’s happening.

    First of all, please make sure you are using the latest version of our plugins. Once you’ve done that, will you please follow the steps outlined in this article? This will allow us to determine if there is a problem in our plugin or a conflict with the theme or other installed plugins.

    Let’s start there and see what we find!

    Hi.

    Followed the guide and changed to Twenty Sixteen theme and disabled all other plugins (and of course cleared browser cache), and the issue persists. So I am quite sure the issue is in your plugin.

    Hey @ztarz76,

    Shoot, I’m having a real tough time replicating the issue. Here’s a screencast of the file downloading on click:

    Tribe export events 404

    And these are the conditions I am testing in:

    * WordPress 4.5.3
    * The Events Calendar 4.2.5
    * WordPress Twenty Sixteen theme (no child theme)

    I’m also testing in a Chrome browser. Are you seeing the issue in these same conditions or is there something different in our testing processes that perhaps I’m missing?

    Thanks!
    Geoff

    Hi.

    Everything is the same. Tested in both Chrome and Firefox.
    Have even tried to remove the plugin and reinstalled it.
    The only thing I can see that differs between your procedure from mine, is the URL that is displayed in the bottom left of the browser.
    Your URL-slug is shown as: be.tickets:8888/events/list/?ical=1&tribe_display=1

    “list” isn’t present in my URL. For me it′s only https://www.ar*
    *****t.nu/events/?ical=1&tribe_display=1
