obviously I didn’t checked the “future” status for planned posts, as documented here WP – Post Status. I’ll fix this and come back to this ticket as soon as the new version is released.

I think the default status behaviour, if none set, should be draft? I fixed this in version 1.0.15, can you work with this? Otherwise I probably will provide the option to select a default status in the settings maybe.
