We have created a website for our association where clothing can be ordered. You can choose from different age groups and on that basis the form shows the clothing that can be ordered.

Users can add multiple garments using Field Groups. This works perfectly on the website, and all calculations go well.

After sending the form, only the first completed Field Group will be fully visible in the mail and in the Submissions section of Forminator. Only ‘Garment’ and ‘Model’ are visible from each subsequent Field Group. The size, number, and subtotal are not visible and are therefore not included in the calculation.

Strangely enough, things go well when you choose the same item 3x for a piece of clothing (for example, a polo). This also adds 3 Field Groups, but then all chosen options are visible in the mail and the Submissions section of Forminator.

When you enter the following in the form https://ibb.co/m0sB29f
This is the result in the confirmation email, but also on the Submissions page in Forminator https://ibb.co/7QW9jwk

    Hi @tomasvv32,

We’ll also need to check the existing form settings to have a better idea regarding the issues noticed.

Possible to share the form export, so that we could give a closer look at the existing settings?

Please check the following doc on how to export a form:
    https://wpmudev.com/docs/wpmu-dev-plugins/forminator/#import-export

If you are concerned about any sensitive information in the form export, then you can duplicate your form, remove any sensitive information, and then export it.

You can share the export file via Google Drive, Dropbox or any cloud services in the next reply.

    Looking forward to your response.

    Kind Regards,
    Nithin

    Hi @tomasvv32,

I was able to replicate the issue on my end but wasn’t able to identify what exactly causes the issue. I have now pinged our developers to take a closer look at the issue and we’ll update you here once we have more insights on this as soon as possible.

    Kind Regards,
    Nebu John

    Hello @tomasvv32 ,

I’m very sorry about the delay on our side. Our developer checked this issue and it is a bug. So it’s now in the hands of the Forminator team and they will be handling it.

    kind regards,
    Kasia

Thanks for the update, we’ve created a form for now that doesn’t use the Field Groups. But as soon as the problem is solved, we would like to start using the Field Groups again.

    Hi @tomasvv32

    Thank you for response!

I fully understand why you’d like to get back to field groups and I can assure you that this will be fixed right in the plugin but I’m afraid I don’t have a time-line yet so there’s no ETA.

Please keep an eye on the changelog for the plugin here

    https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/forminator/#developers

and once the bug is addressed, you should see the “missing repeater fields data” (or similarly “worded”) fix listed there – it would mean the fix is included in the release.

    Best regards,
    Adam
