Problem with filtering products with variants

Welcome everyone!
I’m having trouble filtering products with variants. If the customer selects the “s” size or any other size, all products with this variant are displayed, not those that are in stock. How do I display products in a given size that are in stock? Searching all products and checking if a given size is available is very tedious.

“To remove the out of stock items, you can follow the below steps –
1. Go to WooCommerce > Settings and navigate to the Products tab.
2. Select Inventory.
3. Check the ‘Out Of Stock Visibility’ option to hide out of stock items from your catalog.”

I followed these steps and it didn’t help. It only works for simple products.
