Problem with First and Largest Contentful Paint on my site

    Always exciting to ask for feedback. Is there anyone who can help me with a problem in Google search console. The “First content paint” and “largest content paint” are causing performance problems on my website Kiesdirect.nl. May I ask for your advice and tips on how to solve this?

  • First, look beyond the headline numbers and dig further into the performance report you’re reading. I don’t know what Google shows in GSC, but the public PageSpeed report provides a lot of hints on what’s behind the performance issues reported:

    Check your site’s report here https://pagespeed.web.dev/ and scroll down the page to see the detailed report for what’s causing your LCP & FCP issues.

    Once you have an idea of your performance bottlenecks, review the official WordPress optimization guidelines below for some actions you can take:

    Thanks for your reply. I will dig deeper into what causes the problem. Hopefully I can find the answer in the WP documentation.
