    Good morning, we have problems with free shipping since the last updates of woocommerce, we have made both the shipping costs by country and when shipping is free, but for example in Spain when you want to charge shipping costs and when you want only this free shipping.

    We use the plugin wc-hide-shipping-methods to hide the shipping when free shipping is available.

    Can you help us?

    I understand you are facing a problem with Free Shipping.
    When a customer from Spain orders a product on your site, they only see the Free Shipping option, and the Paid Shipping option does not show up.

    Is my understanding correct?

    For better understanding, could you edit your Shipping settings and share a screenshot of the shipping options you have set up?

    Lastly, share the URL of your site so I can check the shipping costs from my end.

    Hello, it is not correct, the problem is that when an order has to have free shipping when you want to put the free shipping and when you want to charge the shipping even having to be free.

    It happens in all countries that we make sales either Spain, Italy, Germany etc..

    I think there’s something get lost in translation here as I’m now quite sure what you’re seeing at the moment vs. what you’re expecting to see. Can you share a little bit more on how things should work ideally for your use-case?

    Hello I put an example of Spain peninsula itself, the free shipping we have it configured so that apartir of 69 € is free:

    Customer A, in the shopping cart there is 100 € of purchase, the customer from Madrid goes to buy and automatically applies the free shipping that we have set from 69 €,

    Customer B, in the shopping cart there is 100 €. the customer from Granada is going to buy and instead of applying the free shipping is applied shipping costs of 5.90 €.

    I understand we have a language barrier here.
    I will do my best to understand the situation and fix the issue.

    You have set up Free Shipping to be applied when the cart total is 69 €.
    In the case of Customer A from Madrid, the Free Shipping is applied correctly.
    In the case of Customer B from Granada, the Free Shipping is not applied and a shipping cost of 5.90 € is added.

    You want Free Shipping for Customer B like you have it for Customer A.
    Is my understanding correct?

    It looks like you’re experiencing a regional issue with your shipping settings of your Free shipping method.

    For the shared example, can you kindly confirm that Granada is included in your shipping zones where the Free Shipping method is enabled?

    Given that you have confirmed this, it seems like there might be a conflict with your current setup. The issue might be with the wc-hide-shipping-methods plugin you’re using.

    To confirm this, could you please temporarily disable the wc-hide-shipping-methods plugin and then test if the free shipping option shows up for a test order from Granada?

    I understand the issue started happening after you update WooCommerce, but it is possible that the wc-hide-shipping-methods plugin has a conflict with the new version, so it would be helpful to test without it to make sure ??

    Since the issue started after an update, can you please roll back to a previous version and check if the issue persists?

    Hi, I tried to remove the wc-hide-shipping-methods plugin and I got the same error. The only way to fix the error is to go country by country shipping and update both the shipping with cost and from what amount is free shipping and that makes everything work again until the next time the same thing happens.

    You can try with any shipment to portugal, the postage should be free from 95 euros and yet it appears to me that they charge them.

    The only way to fix the error is to go country by country shipping and update both the shipping with cost and from what amount is free shipping and that makes everything work again until the next time the same thing happens.

    To confirm, you go here and add the price again and then it works?

    Have you noticed any similarities between when it stops working?
    Is it after some specific time, or maybe after something specific is done?

    I tried with Portugal as the location, and even after 95 euros, it didn’t have free shipping.

    To confirm, is Portugal added here?

    The reason I’m asking is because I tried with Granada, and it worked correctly. And since the screenshots show the minimum value would be 69, if Portugal needs to be 95, then it might be on another shipping zone.

    If it is, can you please also share the screenshots of it with us?

    Are you able to create a staging site so we can ask you for a few tests without affecting your live website?
    You can ask your host if they offer this service, or you can use WP Staging for quickly spinning up a new test site.

    Hello, Portugal is created in another shipping zone, I have to update them manually so in Spain if it works I updated them before, I will update them all to see how long it takes for the configuration to go back.
